Layanan internet ini juga mendukung administrasi desa, kegiatan pendidikan, dan pengembangan usaha masyarakat.
Dengan akses informasi yang lebih cepat, nelayan dapat merencanakan kegiatan melaut dengan lebih baik. Pemasaran secara digital juga membuka peluang bagi masyarakat untuk menjangkau pasar yang lebih luas dan meningkatkan nilai jual hasil perikanan.
Direktur Utama PLN Icon Plus, Chipta Perdana, mengatakan bahwa konektivitas harus memberikan manfaat nyata bagi kegiatan ekonomi dan kehidupan masyarakat.
“Pemerataan konektivitas menjadi bagian penting dalam memperkuat ekonomi masyarakat di berbagai wilayah. Melalui program ini, PLN Icon Plus menghadirkan teknologi yang dapat membuka akses informasi, memperluas peluang usaha, dan mendukung kemandirian masyarakat pesisir,” kata Chipta.
Senior Manager SBU Regional Bali dan Nusa Tenggara PLN Icon Plus, Anton Suprapto Adi, mengatakan bantuan tersebut disesuaikan dengan kebutuhan masyarakat di wilayah pesisir.
“Bantuan internet ini kami hadirkan sesuai dengan kebutuhan masyarakat Desa Nelayan Rajatama. Konektivitas tersebut diharapkan dapat mendukung aktivitas nelayan, pelayanan desa, pendidikan, serta pemasaran hasil perikanan secara digital,” ujar Anton.
